Google Analytics has got a report called 'In-page Analytics' through which you can determine how users interact with your website in terms of the links/elements they clicked on a web page.

In-Page Analytics is a Google Chrome extension that lets you see some parts of your Google Analytics data right there on your website, no need to go to Google Analytics. Again, In-Page Analytics is not here to replace actual Google Analytics reports but rather to get some quick insights on how are people using your website.
We find In-Page Analytics super useful for those who don’t have enough time to build custom reports in Google Analytics and just need some simple overview of how a specific page is being used.

Often, it's hard to visualize how visitors navigate on a specific website page while looking through Google Analytics statistics. Some users leave the page open in another browser window to make this analysis simpler, so that they can access it when browsing at reports. But with In-Page Analytics, when you search, you can see your Google Analytics information superimposed on your site.

In-Page Analytics is probably one of the most under-used features that can also be the most impactful to a small business.

By looking at these specific analytics you can figure out which areas of your site are most important and which links visitors are clicking when they are actually on your site.

Once you can understand some of the details associated with user patterns, you can reformat your site and optimize in ways that ultimately will boost your conversions.

A great place to start advancing your Analytics use is with In-Page Analytics, one of the most under-utilized attributes that can contribute the most to your business. This feature can show you the important areas of your site, how effective your navigation is, and where users are clicking.

Once you interpret this data, you can make changes to your site that will optimize user experience and increase conversions.

Download the Chrome extension and enable the extension by clicking on the button in your toolbar.
Make sure you are signed-in with the relevant Google Analytics account with a profile for the site you want to review.
Load up the page you want to review clicks for into your browser.
