Hello,

Small to Medium brands, affiliate sites, and authority figures should develop a good content strategy. Local businesses not as much. I think your strategy should depend on the type of website you’re building. Ecom, local biz, niche site, amazon affiliate, etc.
My process is usually the same for anything.
Assuming you already have a product or service. Here’s the simple process.
Keyword research - create a list of keywords relevant to your product or service. Don’t just go after high volume searches. Make sure to include low volume long-tail keywords as well.
Competition analysis - analyze the competitors websites that are ranking at the top for your keywords. Look at the power, number of referring domains, etc. See where their links are coming from so you can possibly get the same.
Optimization and Content Creation - Make sure you’re optimizing your website meta data for keywords properly. Start creating content relevant to your keywords. Use some of the low volume long-tail keywords to get blog post ideas.
Backlinks - You need links if you want to rank. How you go about getting them is up to you. There’s a ton of ways and types of links. Some are better and more powerful than others.
Once your site is up and running, build some links and use a tracker to see any movements in the search engines. Repeat the process. Build links, wait, watch what happens. If you go up, keep at it, if you go down, then take a minute to see why and you might need to remove the new links. Then go from there.
Don’t make it more complicated than it has to be.
Just produce relevant, quality content, promote it, and you’ll get backlinks naturally.
You need to read updated blogs by different kinds of experts who will provide you with good updates about SEO, and you should follow those activities through which you will be able to get good knowledge about SEO and it will help for growth.
