To avoid penalties for unnatural links (known as "link spam"), Google has made clear what should be avoided.

Nofollow backlinks are less common. They're also less valuable. They're used to tell search engines to ignore a particular link. Google's official definition of the nofollow tag is, “'Nofollow' provides a way for webmasters to tell search engines 'Don't follow links on this page' or 'Don't follow this specific link.

Avoid reciprocal link building as it is not preferred by Google. Also paid backlinks should be avoided.

Spammy link profiles are just that full of links built in unnatural, sneaky, or otherwise low-quality ways. Practices like buying links or engaging in a link exchange might seem like the easy way out, but doing so is dangerous and could put all of your hard work at risk. Google penalizes sites with spammy link profiles, so don't give in to temptation.

uying Websites The reason is that Google will not pass link signals from one page to another unless the pages are a close match. Creating a separate website only doubles your work because now you're link building and content writing for two websites.
