How Domain & Hosting work together for your business?

How Domain & Hosting work together for your business?
You often have heard that Domain and Hosting are the openers for online existence. Let's check out, is it true, and how Domain & Hosting work together for your business?
A website (online presence) need Web Hosting and a Domain Name to stand on and come online. First, grab the idea of what both terms are.
    Domain
The domain is an address where people can find you, come to visit your business, and get to know more about you. For instance, we often get to see "www.abc.com" or "www.abc.xyz.com." Here what comes after the www is the domain name.
You can buy the Domain Name of different levels. Top-level Domain Name (with your country code) and then the country code top-level domain extensions, or the second-level and third-level domain names.
However, whichever it is that you buy, should be matching your company or brand cues, that is, if you belong to a sector in education, government, entertainment, business, or it's for personal or family use, etc.
Also, you have to check the availability of the Domain Name using the Free Look Up Checker that many Best Web Hosting Companies have on their website. Or you can contact one and get the information.
When you buy a proper domain name then moving forwards from Domain Name Registration, you need to sign up for web Hosting Services. This entails that Domain & Hosting work together. You can buy both from one company or separately from different companies.
    Hosting
Hosting is like having a room/ space in a website server. You need this space to house the data 'on and of' the website; coding, design, text, media (images, videos), etc. This space is available in different types and packages; Shared Hosting, VPS Hosting, Dedicated Hosting, Cloud Hosting, etc.
When you bought the Web Hosting, the domain setting needs to be revised to get associated with your Hosting and indicate that Domain & Hosting work together for going to be live website.
    Summary
In simple words, Hosting is home to your website (it's content and media), and Domain is the address of that house that takes you to the website.
Having a domain name but not purchasing the Hosting Services is no good unless you want to do reselling. Likewise, having just the Hosting is not possible if you don't have a domain name yet. So both Domain & Hosting work together and closely connected.
Then comes the other facilities that a website needs to be fully functional and attractive. Naming a few besides Domain & Hosting: Web Design, Web Development, and then Digital Marketing (including all SEO, SEM, SMM, etc.)

Domain names and web hosting are two different services. However, they work together to make websites possible. Basically, a domain name system is like a massive address book that is constantly updated. Behind each domain name, there is an address of the web hosting service storing the website's files.
