A Conversion is a click that is converted into action. As you are setting up your campaign, you’ll be setting up Conversion Tracking. A Conversion could be a lot of different things depending on how you set this up and depending on what you want to track. Some common things that you’d want to track as a Conversion would be. Impressions or ad impressions are defined as the number of people who saw your campaign or ad but didn’t interact with it.
You can often find this metric in paid advertising channels. Impressions generally come in two forms: served impressions and viewable impressions.

Both of these terms are related to paid advertising.

Click, as the name says by itself, is when someone has clicked on the ad.

An impression is simply visibility; how many times the ad has been viewed.

Impressions are the Number of Time Ads Appeared on Each Pageview. For Example if your Site had 100 Page Views and People Saw the Ad Units 4 times on Each Pageview, the Impressions will be 400.

This is Different in YouTube though, on YouTube the Views are Always More than Impressions as Ads are not Showed Each time when a Person Watches your Video.

Clicks are Basically the Number of times People Clicked on the Advertisement.

Ad Clicks, or simply Clicks, is a marketing metric that counts the number of times users have clicked on a digital advertisement to reach an online property. Ad Impressions (IMPR) is a count of the total number of times digital advertisements display on someone's screen within the publisher's network.

An ad impression is simply the number of times your ad, whether it’s a banner, button, or text link, has been (or will be) exposed to a potential viewer. A click-through is the actual number of times someone has taken their cursor, placed it on your advertising image and used their mouse to click on that image and be taken to your website.

Impressions: How often someone saw a link to your site on Google. Depending on the result type, the link might need to be scrolled or expanded into view. ... Clicks: How often someone clicked a link from Google to your site. See more details below.

The difference between an impression and a click is simple — in fact, the definition is all in their names. With an impression a user only sees an advertisement. An engagement, or a click, happens when the user actually follows through and clicks on the ad.
