What is pogo sticking?
Hi Friends,
Pogo Sticking can be defined as an unsatisfied user with the search result and click back to search result ASAP. When a user performs a search and visits any website from the SERP list. The page available in the search results cannot satisfy the user, and the user clicks back and tries another result
Pogo Sticking simply means clicking on the website shown on the SERP and quickly dis the website to go back on the SERP results.
The user does such things because the SERP results might not satisfy the query of the user. That’s why the user keeps on looking for other SERP results that satisfies his query.
Pogo sticking is to click & revert back from a website display in google search results.

Pogo sticking is when a search engine users visits several different search results in order to find a result that satisfies their search query.
Pogo-sticking, in SEO, is a term coined by Google. Pogo-sticking is a term used to describe what happens when a user enters your site from a search engine results page (SERP) and then exits your page, going back to the SERPs. From there, they click the next result or head to a different website. This is the absolute worst case scenario in SEO. It’s worse than high bounce rates, low times spent on page, or any of the other metrics you’ve been told to worry about.

Pogo sticking is when a search engine users visits several different search results in order to find a result that satisfies their search query.
Pogo-sticking refers only to the latter cause of high bounce rates. Depending on the nature of your website, wikis for example, a high bounce rate may be a sign of success but pogo-sticking is never a good thing.
