If you’re skewed too much towards do-follow links, you might be viewed by Google as manipulating your link profile and you could be penalized for that. A good rule of thumb would be to aim for 60% do-follow and 40% no-follow links. You should remember that both types of links are essential for the long-term success of your site, as many high-authority websites offer only no-follow links that still bring in tremendous benefits in terms of SEO and web traffic.

As much as you will collect Do - Follow link for your website or blog that will be much more helpful. Ideal ratio is 70-30% of Do follow link and No follow link.

You need both dofollow and nofollow links
They're both essential for the long-term success of your site. ... On one hand, if all your links are only dofollow, Google and other search engines will view this as manipulative and tag your links as spammy, even if you didn't do anything fishy.
