For example, if you rank at the top in Google and some of your competitor did negative SEO on your website to make you down, then what you will do?

You dont have proof that which competitors did negative seo on your site and your backlink profile contains spam low quality links. In such case, you have to remove spam links and if there are some links which could not remove manually, then you may disavow those links.
