The true definition of “keyword density” is the ratio of the word that is being searched for, ie the keyword, against the total number of words appearing on a given web page. If your keyword occurs only once or twice in a page of 500 or more words, obviously it has a lower keyword density than a keyword that would occur six or seven times in a page of similar length.
As far as search engines are concerned, if a particular keyword has a higher density on that particular web page, then the chances of that page obtaining a much better search engine ranking increases almost exponentially.

This topic is very interesting, but what is the recommended keyword density? If there are sites that do not accept keywords density less than 3 % would that mean that a keyword density between 3% - 8% would be ideal?

Keyword density is more useful in SEO. When we write any article for specific keyword. We should take care of the Keyword Density minimum of 3-5% of your targeted keyword to rank well on search engines. Thanks

Keyword Density is the percentage of occurrence of your keywords to the text in the rest of your web page.

It is important for your main keywords to have the correct keyword density to rank well in Search Engines.

The preferred keyword density ratio varies from search engine to search engine. In general, I recommend using a keyword density ratio in the range of 2-8%

Keyword density is an indication of the selected number of times a keyword appears on a web page. But mind you, keywords should be used too, but it would be just large enough to appear at important places.

Keyword density is the percentage of how many times a keyword or keyword phrase is on the page content including all the other content. For example, if we have a web page with exactly 100 words on it including all headlines, captions, alt text, and advertising, and we have a keyword phrase that is on the page 3 times, your keyword density is 3%.

The term keyword density refers to the whole fact that this is the way that certain words are present on a website or article. This is correlated with the nature of the content.

Keyword density keyword text links with other measures. A high percentage of keywords in relation to other text shows that the keyword is important. Here is an example of how it is measured. Let's assume the keyword phrase is sheet metal fabrication.
