    Hello Friends,

An internal link is any link from one page on your website to another page on your website. Both your users and search engines use links to find content on your website. Your users use links to navigate through your site and to find the content they want to find. Search engines also use links to navigate your site.

Interlinking is the process where your article has links to other articles on your site which is related to current article, so the reader can click and be redirected to another article on your site.

Internal links are links between pages on the same site. For example, a link from the home page to a category page or links from a product page to similar product pages.

In short, internal links are links within the site and not pointing outside of the domain.

    Why are internal links important?
Internal links are important for three main reasons.

    Crawl
    Relevance
    Priority

Here's a brief explanation of each.

    Crawl
Internal links provide navigation for users and search engines. A solid internal link structure ensures a site is maximizing crawl efficiency, which is the building block of SEO.

    Relevance
Proper internal linking provides relevance though linking related pages together and doing so with descriptive anchor text. A good internal linking structure creates 'neighborhoods' of content on the same subject or theme.

    Priority
Internal links provide a signal about what pages are most important on a site, generally measured by how many times you're linking to that page. Essentially, if you think a page is important, you link to it more often.

    TL;DR
Internal links are links within your own website and are important in creating proper navigation and crawl paths, enforcing relevance and signaling priority.

3 Benefits of an Internal Linking Structure
Internal linking is important for at least three reasons. They strengthen three parts of your funnel.

    1. They pass authority from one page to another (search optimization)
    2. They guide visitors to high-value, relevant content (usability / UX)
    3. They prompt visitors to act, as calls-to-action (conversion optimization)

Every website with more than one page should be connected through internal linking.

Think of your website’s home page. In the top navigation, you likely have a menu that links to other internal pages. This could be your About, Shop, and Contact pages.

This internal linking structure is essential for SEO because it establishes a site architecture and improves your link equity.

Having multiple web pages attached to a singular domain improves your chances of being ranked by allowing search engine crawlers to index more content.

Most definitions of internal linking use the word domain instead of website. But, that gets a little dicey due to subdomains. If your website has several subdomains, then links between them should be considered internal because you own those sites. For instance, if I link to our careers subdomain, that’s an example of an internal link.

An interior connection is a hyperlink between two pages on a similar site. They pass PageRank (or SEO esteem) just as setting through anchor text and encompassing substance. Most meanings of interior connecting utilize the word space rather than the site.
