LSI - Latent Semantic Indexing, which is the method that Google and other search engines use to study and compare relationships between different terms and concepts.

"LSI (latent semantic indexing) keywords are terms and phrases that are similar or related to a webpage's target keyword. Their purpose is to help search engines better understand the content of the page by adding context and connecting the copy to the target keyword.
LSI stands for Latent Semantic Index(ing). This is a computer program that is designed to learn a wide variety of synonyms based on context. It's a method that uses mathematical techniques to find relationships between words and concepts within a piece of content.
LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) Keywords are conceptually related terms that search engines use to deeply understand content on a webpage."

    Hello Friends,

Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) has long been cause for debate amongst search marketers. Google the term 'latent semantic indexing' and you will encounter both advocates and sceptics in equal measure. There is no clear consensus on the benefits of considering LSI in the context of search engine marketing.

Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) has for some time been a cause for banter among search advertisers. Google the term 'inactive semantic ordering' and you will experience the two backers and doubters in equivalent measure. There is no reasonable agreement on the advantages of considering LSI with regard to web index advertising.
