Cloud Computing is when data and applications are stored on the cloud instead of any local devices. This means the entire workload relies on the cloud instead of your device.

Essentially it’s outsourcing a load of computing amongst other things, such as server security and maintenance.

Some examples of cloud computing include:

Cloud computing is the on-demand delivery of IT resources over the Internet with pay-as-you-go pricing. Instead of buying, owning, and maintaining physical data centers and servers, you can access technology services, such as computing power, storage, and databases, on an as-needed basis from a cloud provider like Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Cloud computing uses servers located some where else. Instead of you owning servers at your company you rent space on the servers or use of them. The cloud computing company takes care of the servers and all the updates and fixes any problems.
