Both LibertyVPS and ASVhost are web hosting providers that offer a range of hosting services. While I don't have real-time data on these specific providers beyond my September 2021 knowledge cutoff, I can provide you with some general information about them that should help you make a decision.

LibertyVPS: LibertyVPS is known for providing offshore hosting solutions. They focus on hosting services that prioritize privacy and anonymity. Their servers are located in the Netherlands, which may be attractive to users who require hosting outside of traditional jurisdictions. LibertyVPS offers various hosting plans, including shared hosting, VPS hosting, and dedicated servers. However, it's worth noting that their services are primarily oriented towards users seeking anonymity rather than mainstream hosting needs.

ASVhost: ASVhost is a hosting provider that offers a wide range of hosting solutions, including shared hosting, VPS hosting, and dedicated servers. They have servers located in multiple locations, including the United States, Canada, France, and the Netherlands. ASVhost emphasizes high performance, reliability, and security in their hosting services. They provide SSD storage and use modern technologies to ensure optimal performance for websites and applications.

When comparing these two providers, consider the following factors:

    1) Hosting Needs: Assess your specific requirements, such as the type of hosting (shared, VPS, dedicated), resources needed, scalability, and any specific server locations you prefer.

    2) Privacy and Jurisdiction: If privacy and anonymity are crucial to you, LibertyVPS may be a suitable choice due to their focus on offshore hosting. However, if you don't have specific privacy concerns, ASVhost offers a broader range of server locations.

    3) Performance and Reliability: Look for factors like server uptime, network speed, and the use of modern technologies (like SSD storage) that can impact the performance and reliability of your website or application.

    4) Support and Customer Service: Consider the quality and availability of customer support. Prompt and reliable support is vital in case you encounter any issues with your hosting.

    5) Pricing: Compare the pricing plans and features offered by each provider to ensure they align with your budget and needs.

It's recommended to visit the websites of both LibertyVPS and ASVhost, review their offerings, read customer reviews, and contact their support teams if needed. This will help you gather up-to-date information and make an informed decision based on your specific requirements.

I never understand when a question is asked in this vein, without specifying the details - what kind of server is needed, for what tasks, and so on.

However, when the question is put like this - I recommend to study how the support service is in each of the companies.

The fact is that no matter how low prices are promised, no matter how colorful and pleasant the site is, no matter what conditions are described in the offer, it is very likely that someday a problem will occur and it will need to be solved with the help of the support service. And here there may be a surprise.

    An example from my life.
When I was completely unfamiliar with the topic of hosting, I needed to find a hosting where I could host the website of the company where I worked then. And I, like a simpleton, rented hosting from the first company that came across in the search engine - Godeddy.
A few months later, we needed to move the site to the VPS, due to rapid growth. And then the support showed itself, disgustingly at that time. Starting with the fact that it was impossible to subscribe to them and ending with the fact that we were almost deleted from the site.

This played a big role in how we started building our hosting company 8 years ago - we decided that our main advantage should be the level of service - responsiveness, patience, a sincere desire to help the client with his issue, no matter how complex or simple it may be .

Conclusion: support in my opinion is the main thing. And this is where things are going great.

The best vps server depends on what your doing. If your making websites or wordpress blogs for one country or area than a vps server that is hosted in that country or area is best. If world wide website than find a cheap vps provider with no set up fees and free vps trial with 30 day money back gurantee.

My experience with HostPro.com has been positive. I decided to upgrade to their managed VPS hosting and chose the NVMe VPS-3 plan for $36 per month. Although I was skeptical at first, the performance was impressive. 12 GB of RAM and 200 GB of NVMe SSD do the trick - page loading has been significantly accelerated. The support service also deserves praise. I received help in setting up the control panel and installing several PHP modules. This saved me a lot of time as I am not an expert in technical matters. The availability of support at any time of the day is another big plus. If you are looking for a VPS hosting with powerful features and great support, HostPro.com is the one for you.
