Seeking advice on using Caddy server as a load balancer for a large PHP app ?

    Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some advice on using Caddy Server as a load balancer for a big PHP application. I’ve read about Caddy's automatic HTTPS and simplicity, which sound great, but I haven't found much info on how it performs as a load balancer in high-traffic environments. Has anyone here used Caddy for this purpose?

    Specifically, I'm interested in:

    - How well Caddy handles high loads and concurrent users
    - How it compares to other load balancers like Nginx or HAProxy in terms of performance and reliability ?
    - Tools or methods for monitoring Caddy's performance

Any insights or experiences would be super helpful.

    Thanks!

Caddy can serve as an effective load balancer for your PHP application, especially if you value ease of use and automatic HTTPS. While it may not outperform Nginx or HAProxy in every scenario, it is capable of handling significant traffic and offers a modern, developer-friendly approach to web server configuration. If your application’s demands are particularly high, consider conducting load testing to ensure Caddy meets your performance expectations.
