I boast of substantial experience in the field of search engine optimization. It is always advisable to use 3-5 keywords in your website.

There is not limit on the targeted keywords for a website as this can help me in optimizing a website. There is also no maximum amount fixed for this purpose.

There is no set amount of keywords that can be used. However they should be extremely high for optimization process and the other way around.

A webpage does not have a specific amount of keywords in the webpage or the website. What really matters is having a good quality content base that will attract more customers to your website. This is very important for the optimization process.

Based on my own opinion as a newbie web based site owner, you can have as much K on those pages of the site you are running these days.

It depends that how many pages or how many type of contents are there on your site. You can target from one to 50 keywords depending upon the size and number of pages.

More specifically you should target one keyword and its variants for every page of your site. Even though that is true, there are pages that you really can’t optimize for target keywords depending on your business. For instance your privacy policy, your about us page, your contact us page are all places that can be difficult to optimize. Other than that, you should optimize each page for a keyword phrase. The number of pages that you can realistically optimize for target keywords is the number of keywords you can target.

Note that by adding a blog to your site, you can target substantially more keywords than you otherwise could.
    Hope that helps!
