Do you mean start your own web hosting company? It's very complex and takes a fairly big budget. You won't get the answers from a forum. You need to look into this in much more depth.

Web hosting is not an easy business that anybody can have and run it from home. You must register the company for the customers to take it seriously. If you are serious enough, register a company and start as a reseller.

How to start a hosting service from home

Its an interesting topic, so here is what you need:

    1) Domain name.
    2) Preferably Static IP for your modem. If it is dynamic you will need to use a service such as tp://www.no-ip.com/ , or similar. This will allow you to run a daemon on your server which will update the DNS (dynamic dns) with the IP of your host / connection. For every site you host you will have to use this, or similar service, so they can keep updating the DNS for your domains to point to your IP (if it is dynamic) .

    3) Linux/FreeBSD server

    4) Control Panel -
There are many different types of control panels, but some of the most widely used are:
    - Plesk
    - CPanel

This approach might save you somewhere from 30-40$/m which is the cheapest VPS server you can get, but will be considerably more complex and time consuming for you to scale it properly, especially once you have paid customers. It is more efficient to get a collocated or managed server, or even a VPS which is in a real Data Center environment and where you have redundancy for power, hardware and network connectivity.

    Good Luck !
