Google Panda is the name of the most recent update to Google's algorithm. Google rolled this out earlier in the year. The update is supposed to target content farms that provide no value to users. If your site has duplicate content or contains low quality content then your site may be affected by this change. Apparently, according to Google 12% of searches were affected by the Panda update. The way to get around it is to provide good quality content and don't scrape content from another site.
