Link farming is what happens when you site has links from one site and appears a hundreds or thousands of links. This is not good. Link Baiting is a different story. Link Baiting is when you create great content on your website and post the content to, say, social sites, then because of the great content, other wants to link to you, or you get a link. Two different animals, one is bad, and the other is good.
