First i thanks to all for helping me every-time. Now i want some knowledge from you all experts.
I am on middle stage SEO and I have few websites but are not ranking well. but its not an issue. my
question is that?
what else i can do to gain good quality backlinks except "directory submission and two way, 3 way
linking".
I know few methods
article submission
fourm posting
blog creation
all these are time consuming works and less effective.
if you have any other strategy to get good links those can help to improve ranking, please share here.

I think google doesn't declare any new SEO techniques so you have to work hard on the present SEO techniques.but it takes time so be patience.

You must optimize your website properly, and rank it by posting articles, you must change the content of your website, also update your website, this way you can rank up, now google only give value to those website which have unique content, and have quality back links.

Please add use of web 2.0 free websites in link building work.All these websites are very helpful to provide backlinks as well as generate huge traffic.Only we need to post quality content on those website get exposure as we can get.

start your google + fan page. I just get the story from one blog last two days which all link you place and share in Google + are dofollow link.
I believe this is the latest way to improve SEO.
