What is difference between blogs and article ?

The major difference between blog and article is content size. The article has 400 words to 1500 word limit of content and blog has up to 500 words content size.

Article is generally defining brief explanation about any topic and blog is just tips, general information or otherwise brief information concerning the use and implementation of product.

You can’t make the comment on the article but you can make the comment on the blog.

In an article you can use the link in the author box and in blog you can use link in the content.

Both are same. Blog normally refers to the write-ups that display at your own website (your personal website), while article normally refers to the write-ups that submitted to the article site such as ezine, goarticle and so forth.

Difference in the content length articles tend to be longer than the 1000 and blogs are short within 250 to 350 words.Article's have more formal and informative style blogs are great and easy way to express ideas and give advice virtually on any topic.

Blogs are run by individual basis or a certain group of people (guest blogs is exception to this) where as anybody can submit quality articles to any article directory and get it approved by the moderators. According to my SEO experience, links coming from article directories carry more value than the links coming from blog posts.
