Sitemap creation and submissions very easy. Generally people use XML site map generator to create sitemap. You can do it online there are many sites which provides online sitemap generator.
Log in to Google webmaster account and click on add site button. It will allow to add site no need of verification.
Then your website url is get added into google account. After clicking on it you will see the site configuration tab on left hand site. click on it, it will get expand. There you see the option of site map. Now click on submit site map button and submit your site map.
If you have created your xml sitemap then you should submit it in Google webmaster tool, yahoo WT and in bing too
Only search engines use xml sitemap for crawling web pages it will not help in any other way
For submitting the site map, you need to create the site map manually or by using some tool or application. Then you have to open the webmaster tool which will provide you the option to submit your website in the directory. After submitting the website to directory click on the add sitemap button and then click on the Add button.

First, you must have a site that is laid out navigation and structurely well. Second, create a sitemap.xml (there are sites to have this done for free). Submit this sitemap to Google. This helps with Google grouping your pages.

I have wasted many an hour downloading and installing desktop site map generators, or registering to browser based site map generators, only to find that they only map the first 500 pages of your site. They will probably be great for your brand new and largely undeveloped Wordpress blog or a micro-site, but I am shooting big with Excerptz.com and intend to far exceed 5000 pages; my latest sitemap has already found almost 2000 to map out. My problem has been answered, for now, by the website FreeSitemapGenerator.com which maps out up to 5000 pages for each of your websites, making it suitable for all but the largest of sites. It gets better too, as it allows you to log out as soon as you have requested the site map and then emails you to inform you when it has finished. Generally this will be a few hours later, subject to demand at the time of your request. Once you recieve the email you simply login to the site, download your xml sitemap, upload it to your database, and then submit the link to Google, Bing, Yahoo & Ask.
great post thanks for share .................
However, what I recommend for you, assuming your site is on wordpress.org, that you get the Yoast Wordpress SEO plug in. Just search for it from you plug-in menu on your site.
This plug in holds your hand for on-page SEO.
Nice resource !

Submit your XML Sitemap to Google
Make sure you do this first. Google is easily the biggest search engine on the Internet today, far bigger than all the other search engines combines. As such it will be sending you far and away the most traffic. So you want to ensure that it is done properly and promptly.
Creating the XML sitemap is the hardest part here, which is pretty easy when you use online tools that will do it instantly. Once you have done that submitting it to Google is a breeze. You simply upload the sitemap to the highest level you want the Google spiders browsing (which in most cases will be the root file).
You then go to Google webmaster tools which will give you the option of adding your site (create an account if you don't already have one, they are free). Add your site to their directory. Once you have done that it will give you the option of adding the sitemap. Click the ADD button.
