Why google making rules and breaks rules itself?

Recently, I have noticed that google shows too many result for a website. Before some day, google allowanced cross domain selection algorithms. I am working on one site basically related to “antenna installation”. If I search a keyword “antenna services” in google Australia. I show many links of yellowpages.com (popular business listing site) at 1st and 2nd page of google. If you do not believe on me, search this keywords and watch the result. How is it possible? Why google making rules and breaks rules itself? I need your feedback on this post.

    Hi,

I do believe you are right but I think..this is to grab the traffic to your site.
    Good approach..
I shall also do this to get the traffic. Nice trick.

    Thanks
