Spamming is when one person or company sends an unwanted email to another person. Spam emails are the computer version of unwanted "junk mail" that arrives in a mailbox, such as advertising pamphlets and brochures.

In layman’s terms, spamming can be defined as the flooding of the Internet with unsolicited or misguiding messages. Mostly, spam is used for commercial advertising, often for get-rich-quick schemes or for selling dubious products. But not always.

In the end, the term describes the aggressive means to promote the product rather than the product itself. So don’t make the mistake of believing that just because the product you are marketing is legitimate you couldn’t be guilty of spamming.

Email Marketing is not Spamming. Its part of SEO that helps to reach your content direct to the Targeted traffic. Spamming is like Cloacking, Brocken Linking, Keyword Stuffing, etc.

Spamming is the use of messaging systems to send an unsolicited message to large numbers of recipients for the purpose of commercial advertising, for the purpose of non-commercial proselytizing, or for any prohibited purpose.

Spam is any kind of unwanted, unsolicited digital communication, often an email, that gets sent out in bulk. Spam is a huge waste of time and resources. The Internet service providers (ISP) carry and store the data. When hackers can’t steal data bandwidth from the ISPs, they steal it from individual users, hacking computers and enslaving them in a zombie botnet. Software providers invest resources creating email applications that try to filter most of the spam out. Consumers waste time sifting through whatever makes it past the spam filters.
