Spam is most often considered to be electronic junk mail or junk newsgroup postings. Some people define spam even more generally as any unsolicited email. However, if a long-lost brother finds your email address and sends you a message, this could hardly be called spam, even though it is unsolicited. Real spam is generally email advertising for some product sent to a mailing list or newsgroup.Spam is most often considered to be electronic junk mail or junk newsgroup postings. Email spam, also known as junk email or unsolicited bulk email (UBE), is a subset of electronic spam involving nearly identical messages sent to numerous recipients by email. Clicking on links in spam email may send users to phishing web sites or sites that are hosting Waldemar. Spam email may also include Waldemar as scripts or other executable file attachments. Definitions of spam usually include the aspects that email is unsolicited and sent in bulk.

Email spam has steadily grown since the early 1990s. Botnets, networks of virus-infected computers, are used to send about 80% of spam. Since the expense of the spam is borne mostly by the recipient, it is effectively postage due advertising.

If you're following ethical ways of email marketing then it's not spamming. I mean you should first create your list for email marketing then you should send them important emails only, do not send them email for affiliate marketing purpose only.

Spam is flooding the Internet with many copies of the same message, in an attempt to force the message on people who would not otherwise choose to receive it. Most spam is commercial advertising, often for dubious products, get-rich-quick schemes, or quasi-legal services. Spam costs the sender very little to send -- most of the costs are paid for by the recipient or the carriers rather than by the sender.
Email spam targets individual users with direct mail messages. Email spam lists are often created by scanning Usenet postings, stealing Internet mailing lists, or searching the Web for addresses

Spamming is the sending of an unsolicited email. What this means is that you send an email, generally an ad of some sort, to someone who has not requested to receive that information from you.

Spamming is strictly prohibited at AWeber. Only people who have come directly to you to request your specific information may be emailed with an AWeber account.

Spamming is just sending unsolicited mail to the users which are not intended to receive it.
Most of the companies send unlimited mails to the database of the users which they have purchased from some third-party.
Most of the Email marketing companies doesnt follow standard procedures and guidelines.....
And Send unlimited mails results in SPAMMING
