    Issue with external hardDisk

    WD 500GB external hard disk not mounting on Linux as well as windows, it is showing malfunctioned device,
    we have important data on that drive not want to format also,if their any way to get it fix without formatting ?
    >>>waiting for valuable suggestion.

    External device normally catch the virus very easily that's why their life is always on risk. But many software are available just use them, Definitely, you will find the solutions.

    I think it little complicated issue ,it seems that there is some hardware problem , if you are using device which is in guarantee then just call costumer care.
