Free Hosting vs Paid Hosting ?

Paid hosting is better and more secure than a free Hosting , for these reasons:

    - Limited traffic
This problem arises when site traffic is beginning to take off and exceeds the authorized bandwidth, the site will be blocked and will not be accessible, so it limits his presence on the net and risk losing customers who will never return. This is related in the fact that companies providing free hosting have not implemented the necessary measures to deal with large amounts of traffic. For its part the host may ask you to pay a fee because your traffic exceeds the minimum acquired.

    - Absence of technical support
Technical support is the main shortcoming of free hosting. When the website is down or it encounters a problem, you will be limited to a forum to ask questions, no possibility to reach someone by phone or email. Unlike the options offered by the paid hosting which offers a customer service 24hours/24 and 7days/7

    - Lack of control
With free hosting you are not able to make changes to your site, or to have a control panel to administrate it. Sometimes your website requires programs that might be useful to your company but you are not allowed to add. As part of a paid hosting service you get a suite of software to manage, to host and to build your website also to have full control over your control administration.

    - Below the free hosting
It is impossible to build a presence on the web free hosting mode since your site willinclude banner ads on your pages. Also you havenít control over these ads, the worst that: they could be those of a competitor on the market, something that affects your image.

And ending with the limits of free hosting, we must remember the major risk: free hosting that cost you the loss of your website and domain name if the host has a bankruptcy or any another reason that let him to disappear.

The paid hosting is the most reliable solution to manage and ensure a presence on the net with a cheap investment, benefit from quality service with a network availability of 99,9%.

You can choose any one of them but both have different facilities..If you have a small website you can opt for free hosting as they provide lots of spaces and if you need sucurity and better features you must choose paid hosting..

    Not necessarily true.

A lot of times, free web hosting and paid hosting offers the same security, network bandwidth and port speed. The only difference is the hosting features included. These features include additional disk storage, data transfer, more scripting support, more email accounts, etc.

For a business open a new website, or for any regular website, the disk storage and data transfer offered by a free web hosting service would be sufficient. It takes time to grow a website and store enough visitors to max out the storage or data transfer limits of a free web hosting package. You can always upgrade your service from the free web hosting to paid hosting when the time comes.

unless your website require the specific features offered by the paid hosting plans, free web hosting services might be all you need and especially if you are aiming to save on money without compromising on the performance.

Most small businesses do not need more than 5 email accounts. The more accounts you have just means the more time you have to spend managing them. Many free web hosting providers offer email aliases (or email forwarders) that allows you to create the illusion of having many different email addresses but in fact all emails to these aliases are redirected and managed by one account.

Unless you are planning on using applications that require advanced scripting support (ie. a content management system, an e-commerce shopping cart, etc.), your web files will simply be of HTML and image files. HTML and image files do not require advanced scripting support - any free web hosting services will do.

In conclusion, unless your website require the specific features offered by the paid hosting plans, free web hosting services might be all you need and especially if you are aiming to save on money without compromising on the performance.

Host Space is major factor that Differentiate both paid and Free web hosting , Paid hosting gives freedom and fosters the pace of business.
Free hosting companies do not supports freedom in bandwidth and Bandwidth offered by companies is responsible for the speed or say website performance .If your website lack with fast load may visitor left from landing .In today's time instant connectivity is required .So think twice before looking for free hosting services .

Its always better to opt for a paid hosting platform for getting better resources and good customer support. You would surely not want any kind of downtime for your website, you can opt for a cheap and affordable web hosting platform instead of a free one.

Free hosting has a lot of disadvantages like not enough space, not enough bandwidth, no support, no domain name, etc., when compared with a free web hosting, a cheap shared hosting is a far better option. For example, I got shared hosting service from TuckTail.com at just $2.79/month which includes 100GB space and unlimited bandwidth with 24/7 customer support.

Wow, it is really good differentiation between free hosting and paid hosting. I am always in a side to choose paid hosting because it gives you more benefits and facilities. But if you had started a new website then free hosting would be a good option.

The economy the way it is right now, new entrepreneurs are looking for ways to save money in their start up costs. Every one seems to be looking for free web hosting but they really don’t understand the cost to their business by doing this. If you are reading this after the recession of 2008-2009, the following information is still relevant as it relates to building a reputable online presence for your business. Let’s look at the cost to your business if you go with free web hosting.

If you're going for free hosting, you better be ready for the things that may come. That includes limited resources and lots of downtime. That's just from my experience though.

For me, Paid hosting is better because of the awesome customer support which you can never ever get from a free hosting account.

Free website hosting only has a limited amount of space you can use. Free hosting accounts often do not provide enough storage or bandwidth for most businesses. There is not enough room for a large website site with many colorful graphics, some video and multiple pages.
You may wonder how free providers can afford to offer free website hosting. Almost always, they make money by putting advertisements on the free pages. Therefore, you can certainly expect your pages to show ads on them that you did not place there. The worst is when a free host uses popups, which is very aggravating for visitors. Free web hosting sites term and conditions often require that you allow their online banners and advertisements to be placed on your website. As they will say, it is what pays the bills.
A free site has their name along with your unique domain name in the address. If you have a business, a potential client might think you are not successful enough to have your own website, and turn away to find someone whose website is with one of the best paid website hosting services.
You must use their website designs and system and cannot upload other popular website products like Wordpress into the free site.
