    what is the difference use of xml and html sitemap?

    Hello Guys,
    There is two type sitemap html and xml. what is different use of these. please share you feedback.

    The difference between XML and HTML site map is that when we submit XML site map in webmaster tool it converts in to HTML site map and then it crawl it, but when we submit HTML site map there is no need to convert it, so it is very useful to crawl for crawler and it works fast.

    XML Sitemap is for search engine bots so that they can crawls on those pages which you have listed in it. XML sitemap is mainly for indexing purpose.

    HTML Sitemap is mainly for users. If they are unable to find a particular page then they use this sitemap to fin that page. It becomes easy for them to navigate a particular website.

    The real and observable variance in the middle of XML and HTML site map is that when we give in to XML site map in webmaster tool it changes in to HTML site map and then it skulk it.
