There is no any kind of updates on SEO right now. But I would suggest more to prefer Content optimization and social media optimization. That would be really helpful to gain more people to your website easily. Google is also preferring these strategies to get rank over search engine website.

After panda update on last 18 July, there is no update as far as my knowledge.

Penguin 2 - May 26, 2012 (less than 0.1%)

After the last Google's Last update in July there are no more updates after that. I have experienced after the last Google update that Google is now required much Unique and Rich content to get Good Results. With Unique Content your website must have Quality High PR's Back Links.
