Though Hostgator is cheap, it is a great choice not only for a beginner, but also for a professional hosting user.

If I were you, I'd give GlowHost.com a try. Their features have certainly gotten better and they now offer a lot more for the same price.
Servers are reliable. Overall they're just a great company.

I have used Hostgator, but it isn't good enough. Initially i choose a good plan but with time when i started getting business, hostgator started suspending my account. Even i have cleared from them before taking their services. They have all same reason that my site is eating their RAM a lot and thus they are suspending my account.

No doubt, Gigapros.com will work for you. I can not express how happy I am with their services. I don't really enjoy learning about web servers and stuff, however, I have enjoyed getting everything setup, you just need to have a level of patience and explain everything in detail and everything will happen.
