A reciprocal link is a mutual link between two websites. For example, if website A links to website B, then website B can add a reciprocal link back to website A. The result of a reciprocal link is two websites that link to each each other.

Reciprocal links are said to be done when two websites kept their links in each other website for the benefit of traffic to the website and ultimately ranking. Although Google does not support this way of link building.

Reciprocal linking takes place when two websites link backwards and forwards to one another. Usually this takes place when associates who both have sites link to one another.
This is also takes place usually in groups of business people who are in a group with each other.

A reciprocal link is an agreement between two webmasters to provide a hyperlink within their own website to each other's web site. Generally this is done to provide readers with quick access to related sites, or to show a partnership between two sites.

Reciprocal links are based on an agreement by two sites to link to each other. Reciprocal linking is often used by small/midsize sites as an inexpensive way to increase Web site traffic and link popularity.
