One way linking refers to natural linking where you get a linkback for your website without providing any backlinks.

Two way linking is a reciprocal linking where there is a mutual link exchange between two websites.

Three way linking is link exchange process where you provide backlink from another website in exchange to a link of your main website.

That's right one way link means, when someone link the site, it's called one way link. when you link on my site and I link you site, it's called two way link. when linking process is done on three other site to link one another, it is called three way linking

One way is best for organic link building, Two way for reciprocal link submission as in directory submission and Three way is best for link exchange. I prefer one way link, this is best for static ranking.
