A Web server functionality where an old URL can be redirected to a new one. 302 Redirect is a "temporary" redirect reputation.

A 302 status code means Found, or more commonly referred to as “temporarily moved.” This redirect doesn’t carry or pass the link value to the new location.

301 and 302 redirects are not penalized by Google, and almost all ranking is transferred.

302 Redirect is very important for seo. Because you submitted link of that page and after sometime that page is not available in website. When visitors visit that page and he/she not found that page that create bad impression on visitors as well as on google.

A 302 redirect, or also known as a temporary redirect, should be put in place if you want to redirect your site visitors into another webpage but you plan to bring the redirected page back after some time.

I think you have some wrong information because 301 is permanent redirection and 302 is the temporarily redirection.

301 or 302 is a Permanent Redirect for a page. If you are existing in SERP but that page have some bugs or errors so you can redirect to new page by using 301 Redirection and it’s recommended by Search Engines
