Does Cloudflare / CDN really improved your speed ?

Hello guys hope most of us very acquainted with CDN to improve speed as it reduces server load and improves caching and easy controls.

Well I just activated CDN [Free by Cloudflare] on my Webster but can't find any improvements although it active confirmed from online tools.

What other things I'm missing, advices please.
    Regards,
    Situn.

Yes, it will definitely increase in page load. Maybe it's not noticeable for you, but what CloudFlare's CDN does is that it will cache your website contents.

Then whenever a visitor visits your website, CloudFlare will deliver from the server that is closest to the visitor. Example that if your web server is hosted in India, and someone from far away visits your website, CloudFlare will deliver those cached content from the server that is closest to the visitor instead from India where your web server is hosted.

CloudFlare speeds up your website and protects it from security threats. According to CloudFlare, on average a website using CloudFlare loads twice as fast, uses 60% less bandwidth, has 65% fewer requests and is more secure. CloudFlare's cheapest CDN plan is 0.00 per month (i.e. free!).

CDNs boost the speed of websites by caching content in multiple locations around the world. CDN caching servers are typically located closer to end-users than the host, or origin server. CDNs like Cloudflare enabled you to serve up content closer to where your visitors are located using an edge server, providing an easy way to speed up your site while also reducing the latency.

Cloudflare is a free CDN (content delivery network) that acts as a proxy between your visitors and the server your website is hosted on. I saw an increase in speed by an average of 5-10% using the free plan, had an average of 5 minutes of downtime weekly and a lot of malicious and spam attacks rejected.

For us and our clients it definitely helps. It caches nicely and keeps out those pesky bots that slowdown your website aswell

If you are using a local server and only targeting local (own country) then CDN could be a baggage.
