A cluster, in the context of servers, is a group of computers that are connected with each other and operate close to act as a single computer. Speedy local area networks enhance a cluster of computers' abilities to operate at an exceptionally rapid pace.

It provides network administrators with a scalable, centralized solution for networks that require high availability of resources. When network clients try to connect to shared resources on MSCS, they do so in the same way that they connect to any other network server. Users can thus learn to work with clusters without requiring additional training.

There are two separate answers for this if you want to get semantic.

The first definition is a cluster server is a group of servers that are connected to shared networking and storage resources with underlying software that takes work/jobs and breaks those jobs down into chunks that are distributed over all of the servers in the cluster to get that work done faster by exploiting parallelism.

The second definition is a server that belongs to such a cluster (the proper term for this would be a cluster node).

Server clustering refers to a group of servers working together on one system to provide users with higher availability. These clusters are used to reduce downtime and outages by allowing another server to take over in the event of an outage. Here's how it works. A group of servers are connected to a single system.

A server cluster consists of a group of servers work under a single IP address. Clustered servers are commonly used for servers that include files, prints, databases, and messages.Clusters increase data protection and maintain the consistency of cluster configuration over time.
