Yes when you are starting and testing new websites free hosting is suggested. Once your website is fully functional and you want to go in a professional way then you will have to go with paid hosting.

The free hosting is not secured and stable. It is also not supported and you must do everything by yourself. There are many cheap hostings, which provides support and good service, which can give you a better start in the business.

Why on the earth somebody wish to host business website with free hosting service? Let me give answer to my own question: 1) Business is not generating revenue to at least afford hosting cost 2) May be it is a worthless business at all.
IMO, free hosting service is a good option for those wish to test their applications, websites, etc… For commercial purpose you should not consider this option.

Free hosting is a very bad option just take it out from your mind you will never get a boost ever from free hosting.

I think you should go in a professional way for that I suggest you to choose a web host which operating on a powerful server. I have hosted my site with poweruphosting. The responses are very quick and helpful.

Free hosting = very small startups small blogs and simple static pages
Paid Hosting = small biz big blogs heavy joomla websites
Free hosting is best for starting then switch to paid.
