    2. You want a domain name that is simple to read, say and remember.
    3. Try using keywords that describe your business.
    4. Numbers and hyphens are don't use.

    When you want to choose or buy a domain names, there are several factor that might be to consider :
    - the extension will be used, such as : .com, .org, .net, .edu, and many more.
    - match with your business model
    - if possible, you can choose domain name that contain the keyword targeted.
    - easy to remember domain name. here, its very recommended to choose short domain names.
    - domain registrar company
    - price the domain itself

    Agreed with the above advice(s)

    Firstly, your domain name needs to be unique.

    Secondly, make it easy to pronounce and mostly, easy to remember. Branding is best when recalled

    Thirdly, acoud hyphens, and double letters. Keep it short.

    Finally, ensure that the domain name is protected. With basics like SSL certificate, Digital certificates, SiteLock and codeguard etc. I as a web dev prefer getting it from BigRock for my clientele.

    And yes, use a TLD that suits your business/category. A .COM is not the be all and end all of everything.

    Your domain name should also match your brand name. You don't want to confuse your visitors by using a domain name that is irrelevant or has no association whatsoever with what you do. You want a domain name that is simple to read, say and remember.
