Cloud hosting is widely seen as a better option to shared hosting because of its ability to handle large amounts of traffic, its improved security protection, and its reliability.

Shared hosting is the traditional method of hosting and can be a good cost-effective option for many smaller businesses," Rollins said. "It also can be easier to use when it comes to features." Cloud hosting is ideal if you experience high traffic or spikes in visits or if you need in-depth security features.

The difference between shared and cloud hosting lies in how each is organized. Shared hosting servers are servers with multiple websites on them. Web hosting companies build and maintain these servers, and they place a bunch of websites on them. Instead of on one shared server, your site is hosted in the cloud.

I am not that friendly about Normal hosting but I can say about cloud hosting I am using this since so long, Cloud hosting is the process of outsourcing an organization's computing and as an alternative having all of your data on a single machine, cloud hosting increase the data across several different machines, different servers in different places and all of them are connected. Also, you can manage your data through an essential machine that accesses all the different servers across the cloud.

If by normal hosting, you mean shared hosting, then Cloud hosting is comparatively a better option than shared hosting. The difference between the two is that the shared hosting server has multiple users/businesses sharing one server, but the cloud hosting server instead has a separate cloud server for a business.

Cloud hosting has impeccable uptime as compared to shared hosting as the users are using a dedicated server.
The speed and performance of cloud hosting is much better compared to the shared hosting because the server allocates all the resources to one business.

The cloud hosting is more secure compared to the shared hosting because the user has absolute control over the server, and no other company is using this server.

The only thing where cloud hosting lacks is pricing. Cloud hosting is much more expensive than shared hosting.
In the end, cloud hosting taken the crown because when it comes to speed, performance, uptime, security, cloud hosting is better than shared hosting.
