Never trust recommendations such as "someprovider.com has great deals available" or "someprovider.com is the best and cheap VPS hosting"...
Really, what do such posts tell potential customer? Nothing important, just screaming another provider's name, while the hosting market is more then overloaded with the scam and low quality service providers, so it becomes more and more complicated for a customers to find real one, the company, which will really care about hosted data and provide really helpful support, nothing to speak about hosting performance.
So, it is always helpful for people to see genuine experience of someone who's recommending any hosting company and one of the method is to just supply recommendation with their own website hosted with the suggested company.
Or at least provide direct link to the website, where the REAL customers left their reviews. For instance, Trustpilot or ShopperApproved are good ones.

I'm looking for a cheap but reliable VPS I can use to learn CentOS. I currently have a dedicated server, but it's a production server I don't want to play with. I'd like to replicate that environment and use it for testing/learning purposes.
