    What is a Parked Domain?

A parked domain is a domain name pointed to one of our web servers and each one you setup in your Control Panel, will point to your homepage of your primary web hosting account. Parked domains have no other functionality.

Parked domains are often used by businesses that want to have more than one web address for advertising purposes. Parked domains are additional domains hosted on your account which display the same website as your primary domain and share web statistics as well; however, you can give the parked domain its own email boxes.

A Parked Domain is a domain name that points to your main Web site on your account

For example, if cars.com is your main Web site, you can purchase the cars.net and assign it as a parked domain so that if a visitor were to type cars.net they would see the same Web site as if they had typed cars.com.

Domain parking refers to the registration of an internet domain name without that domain being associated with any services such as e-mail or a website. This may have been done with a view to reserving the domain name for future development, and to protect against the possibility of cybersquatting.

Parking a domain means you have your domain name point to a placeholder web page which tells visitors that this domain has already been taken. Most people use this feature to provide a temporary page for visitors to see while they decide what to do with their domain.

A parked domain (or parking a domain) is when you purchase a domain name such as hostsearch.com but you don't associate it with any web services like email or web hosting. Instead, you “park” it for later use – often with a landing page or holding page.

When you park your domain, visitors to your site will see a temporary Web page when they enter your domain name into their browser. Parking your domain simply means you are putting it on hold until you create your website, find a hosting provider, sell it, etc.

Parked domains are basically an alias domain name to your primary domain, it will be pointing to the same webpages as your primary domain is pointing to, i.e. multiple domains, same website.
