I was just wondering with regards to off-page SEO and content marketing — when people say things like “content marketing strategy” or “outreach strategy” is this just the case of networking or trying to get your articles/content featured in other places?

I get that the content strategy can be everything from what the content is, where it's posted, who the audience is, when it's posted etc but I’m just a bit confused about the sort of final stages and whether it boils down to you basically pouring your heart out to every publication online trying to get featured or are there other ways that are more manageable and not so reliant on the other person saying yes or no?

    Any help would be appreciated
