    Based on a service that the cloud is offering, we classify as:

    IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service)
    PaaS(Platform-as-a-Service)
    SaaS(Software-as-a-Service)
    or, Storage, Database, Information, Process, Application, Integration, Security, Management, Testing-as-a-service

    Types of cloud services: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, FaaS. Cloud computing services fall into 4 categories: infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), software as a service (SaaS) and FaaS (functions as a service).

    What is Cloud Computation?
    January 21, 2019
    Cloud computing is the fast delivery of computing services like servers, data storage, databases, networking, software (desktop based or server based), analytics, intelligence and more—over the Internet (“the cloud”) to offer faster innovation, flexible resources, and economies of scope. You typically pay only for cloud services you use services, helping reduce your operating costs, run your infrastructure more efficiently, effectively and scale as your business needs change.

    Cloud computing provides three different kinds of service model.
    The services are accessed remotely over the internet through the user’s web browsers.

    SaaS (software as a service) : this service refers software application provision for the cloud.

    PaaS (platform as a service) : which allow clients to deploy the provision of services. In PaaS programming languages and tools are used to create application supported by suppliers.

    IaaS (infrastructure as a service) : it means in the cloud processing power, storage space and network capacity allow the user to run different types of software.

    Why AWS or Azure is famous?
    Azure is a cloud computing service developed by Microsoft for building, testing, deploying, and managing applications and services through a global network of Microsoft-managed data centers.

    Amazon Web Services(aws) : is a subsidiary of Amazon(amazon.com) that provides on-demand cloud computing platforms to individuals, companies, and governments, on a paid subscription basis. The technology allows subscribers to have at their disposal a virtual cluster, available all the time, through the Internet.

    AWS or Azure services
    are popular because they can reduce the cost and complexity of owning and operating computers, servers, and networks. Since AWS or Azure users do not have to invest in information technology infrastructure, purchase hardware, buy software licenses, the benefits are low up-front costs, fast return on investment, fast deployment, customization, flexible use, and solutions that can make use of new innovations. In addition, aws or azure providers that have specialized in a particular area (such as e-mail) can bring advanced services that a single company might not be able to afford or develop.

    Some other benefits to users include scalability, reliability, efficiency. Scalability means that cloud computing offers unlimited processing and storage capacity of services. The aws or azure is reliable in that it enables access to applications and documents anywhere in the world via the Internet. Aws or azure computing is often considered efficient because it allows organizations to free up resources to focus on innovation and product development.

    Another potential benefit is that personal information may be better protected in the aws or azure. Specifically, aws or azure may improve efforts to build privacy protection into technology from the start and the use of better security mechanisms. Aws or azure computing will enable more flexible IT acquisition and improvements, which may permit adjustments to procedures based on the sensitivity of the data.

    Cloud services are the on-demand services availed via internet. These services are designed to provide scalable & easy access to applications, services and resources that are entirely managed by cloud service providers. Cloud services comprise of wide array of resources that are delivered by a service provider to its customers. Cloud services market across the globe is already intense and have attained significant market penetration across the globe. Further, upcoming technological development in this market is anticipated to motivate the vendors to introduce more efficient and hi-tech cloud services.

    Cloud computing can be classified by two types

    -On the basis of services
    * IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service)
    * PaaS(Platform-as-a-Service)
    * SaaS(Software-as-a-Service)
    * FaaS (functions as a service)

    - On the basis of locations
    * Public,
    * Private,
    * Hybrid
    * Community Cloud

    The Basic types of Clouds in Cloud Computing are:-
    1) Public Cloud :-Public Cloud is used by general public or any large industry group and is owned by an organization. Eg:- Facebook,Google, LinkedIn, etc.

    2)Private Cloud:- Private Cloud is used by single organization.It is owned by organization or a third party.

    3)Hybrid Cloud:- It is composition of two or more clouds i.e public,private or community.

    4)Community Cloud:- It is shared by several organizations and supports specific community that has shared concerns.

    1. Private Cloud
    A Private Cloud is implemented using a dedicated data center infrastructure of hardware and software that is used privately by an organization. The data center can be on-premises or off-premises. It is not shared with another organization. If the data center is shared, then its called a Virtual Private Cloud.

    The Cloud Computing Stack in a Private Cloud is dedicated to the organization. If the data center is shared but not the Cloud Computing Stack, that is a Virtual Private Cloud. When both the Cloud Computing Stack and the data center are shared, then it becomes a Public Cloud. A Private Cloud may participate in a Hybrid Cloud.

    2. Public Cloud
    A Public Cloud is implemented using a shared data center infrastructure of hardware and software that is shared by multiple organizations. The data center is generally off-premises.

    The Cloud Computing Stack in a Public Cloud is also shared with other organizations. The data, however, for each organization is kept separate. If the data center is shared but not the Cloud Computing Stack, that is a Virtual Private Cloud. When neither the Cloud Computing Stack nor the data center is shared, then that is known as a Private Cloud. A Public Cloud may participate in a Hybrid Cloud.

    3. Hybrid Cloud
    A Hybrid Cloud is any combination of Clouds. It could be a Private Cloud and one or more Public Clouds. Similarly it could be a Virtual Private Cloud and one or more Public Clouds. But this is so much more than just multiple Clouds. There has got to be resources that are shared among the Clouds. An example of this is Cloud Bursting.

    4. Community Cloud
    A Community Cloud can be a Private Cloud, Virtual Private Cloud, Public Cloud, or Hybrid Cloud. A Community Cloud is specifically designed to meet the defined needs of a community. Such communities involve individuals or organizations that have shared interests. This includes industrial groups, research groups, standard groups, and so on. Therefore, a Community Cloud is not so much a type of Cloud as it is a way to look at how Clouds could be used. The data center that supports the Community Cloud could be one of the member organizations or it could also be in a location away from all member organizations.

    5. Personal Cloud
    There is a Private Cloud implemented utilizing an organization a data center infrastructure of hardware and software thatís used by an organization. The data center can be on-premises or off-premises. It isnít shared with another organization. In case the data center is shared, thatís a Virtual Personal Cloud.

    The Cloud Computing Stack in a Personal Cloud is dedicated for the organization. In case the data center is shared but not the Cloud Computing Stack, thatís a Virtual Personal Cloud. If the data center and the Cloud Computing Stack are shared, thatís a Public Cloud. A Personal Cloud might participate in a Hybrid Cloud.
