Hello friends,
What is the difference between indexed and crawling..?
An index is another name for the database used by a search engine. It contains information on all the websites the search engine was able to find.
Googlebot (or any search engine spider) crawls the web to process information. Until Google is able to capture the web through osmosis, this discovery phase will always be essential
Crawling: Google come on our website and read it then store our data in hid database
Indexing: Google save our website pages screenshots in his database then display when any one type relevant keywords in the search engine.
Both are the same Crawling and Indexing. Whether the writer understands the difference or not, in many SEO articles it leads the reader to believe the two words mean the same thing.
Indexing is the process of listing the cached information on the SERP and Caching is the process of taking the snapshot of your recent web pages.
One perfect example of terms that are incorrectly used synonymously is Crawling and Indexing. Whether the writer understands the difference or not, in many SEO articles it leads the reader to believe the two words mean the same thing. They most definitely do not
