Internal links are those that point to internal webpages of the same root domain. Inbound links are those that point to your domain from external webpages. These links bring in traffic and help to rank your keywords higher in search engines.

Linking one page with other page of the same website is termed as Inter Linking. There are various advantage of Inter linking like it helps to improve the bounce rate of the website, improves user engagement in the website.

One thing to understand while interlinking different pages of the website is don't repeat the same anchor text all over the website. having combination of different different keywords.
