Magento is the leading ecommerce platform, however, It depends on the business model and products listing, whether you have some products or thousands of products listed on your store, you will have to use Magento and always select best hosting for Magento store because after sometime. When you will have more products, you will face site loading issue and increase in bounce rates. I am using cloudways managed Magento hosting and It performs very well.

Actually, these two platforms are integrable. Odoo and Manento combined can bring you some advantages. Anyways, if you need to compare them here's what you will get:

It depends on the parameter that's most important for your business. Generally,eCommerce Platforms Research demonstrates, that from open eCommerce Systems, Magento is the best in Total Traffic. Besides, Magento has more user-friendly interface.

    Magento Better Platform Your Ecommerce

Being an open source platform, Magento development comes at a free cost.
Magento provides high flexibility by integrating well with modules and third party systems.
There are all the inbuilt SEO features that you require your site to be SEO user-friendly.
You can customize Magento anytime you want, leading to personalized requirements of an ecommerce store satisfied.
Ecommerce hosting can be chosen at your own will.
By using a single back-end system for Magento, you can run multiple stores in parallel.
Importing products to your Magento site is extremely easy, without doing stuff manually.
In case you want to migrate from a another e-commerce platform to Magento, I suggest you use the Litextension service.

Having experience of using Magento and Bigcommerce, (I had migrated to magento not long ago with Cart2Cart service, as I was looking for a tool, to avoid manual data transfer) I can say, that Bigcommerce has very user-friendly Content Management System, great design facilities and customer support... You will be able to promote your store via social media and get target traffic on your Internet store.
Bigcommerce is recommended for eCommerce beginners. Comparing with Magento, I can say, that it is mostly for big stores, and enterpreneurs with a good programing skils. Thus if you are ready to risk- you will get great opportunities for business growth and development.

I have never heard about Odoo. There are 3 popular eCommerce platforms out there, WooCommerce, Magento and Shopify. If Odoo is a least popular platform, then I would recommend you to avoid it because it might not have kind of community support Magento and other big platforms have. Magento is a great eCommerce platform, but it is recommended for big stores. This is because managing Magento requires you to have a team of developers. It is not that cost effective for small stores.

The major reason behind the rising e-commerce trend is their convenience of shopping 24x7. Unlike any office hour, people aren’t tied with any time zones to shop. coming to the retailer’s point of view, the eCommerce website overcomes the limitations of geography. With rising e-commerce trends, there is a rise in e-commerce software applications in the market. Before choosing best e-commerce platform, you have to consider some elements like SEO and Mobile Friendliness, Security, Multi payment option..etc. Read the full comparison between the odoo e-commerce and magento.

Looking for an expert to implement your Odoo e-commerce. We provide an array of odoo implementation facilities.

If you dont have a plan to put in your webshop 100K+ products Wordpress/Woocommerce is much better solution than Magento, uncomparable cheaper in maintaining and extending its functionality (uncountable amount of plugins accessible from admin panel)

Odoo can also manage recurring payments. Magento offers a secure and safe payment gateway for the buyer as well as the seller. Both platforms provide multi-currency options to facilitate sales in different geographies. Each of the platforms supports almost all payment gateway solutions.

    1. Magento is easy to deploy compare to this Oddo. Because Magento is developed in PHP while Odoo is based on Python so you will need specialist for deploying Odoo.

    2. Magento can be easily hosted as every hosting provider supports PHP platform. To search provider for Odoo deployment is quite difficult task.

    3. Development and maintenance cost for Magento is less compare to Odoo as Magento can be easily installed and customized.

    4. Magentos has multi-language support.

    5. Mangento is more popular because of it's ease and effective interface. That is why it is attracting the market.

    One great example is Elly

If you ask me, I prefer to use magento commerce software for my e-commerce web sites.
