ccTLD stands for "country code top-level domain". It is a top-level domain reserved for a country's own use. Each country has been given a 2-letter abbreviation such as .us for the United States or .uk for the United Kingdom. Domize currently supports only the .us ccTLD.

A Country Code Top-Level Domain (ccTLD) is a top-level domain to design for a particular country. ccTLD shows the user and the search engines that a site or content refers to a certain country, not a language. Country Code Top-Level Domain such as .fr for the France and .eu for the European Union.
    For Example:
    http://www.example.fr
    http://www.example.eu

A country code top-level domain (ccTLD) is an Internet top-level domain generally used or reserved for a country, sovereign state, or dependent territory identified with a country code. All ASCII ccTLD identifiers are two letters long, and all two-letter top-level domains are ccTLDs.

ccTLD is an acronym for Country Code Top Level Domain. Two letter domains, such as .uk (United Kingdom), .de (Germany) and .jp (Japan) (for example), are called country code top level domains (ccTLDs) and correspond to a country, territory, or other geographic location. The rules and policies for registering domain names in the ccTLDs vary significantly and ccTLD registries limit use of the ccTLD to citizens of the corresponding country.

A ccTLD is a country code top-level domain extension that is assigned to a country in the world. Each country has their own domain extension based on the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country codes. This means that all ccTLDs are only two characters, and all two character TLDs are ccTLDs.

Country code TLDs use the ISO 3166-1 country codes except in a few rare cases, where ASCII identifiers are used instead (for instance, .uk instead of .gb). In some cases (including Arabic and Chinese), TLDs using non-Latin characters are also available — these are called internationalized country code top-level domains (IDN ccTLDs or ccIDNs).
