If visitor visit your site and without opening any other page on site leaves which called bounce rate. While exit rate is bit different than bounce rate. Whenever the visitor visit your site and open other pages and leave your site from particular page. So the total visit for that page and total number of visitor lived your sites from that page is help to find the exit rate of that page.

Bounce rate is basically tells you what percentage of your visitors are bouncing away after landing on your site they just visit one page and leave before clicking on to a second page inside your site.
Exit Rate is the percentage of visitors to a site who actively click away to a different site from a specific page, after possibly having visited any other pages on the site. The visitors just exited on that specific page.
Bounce Rate is extremely important for determining how your landing pages perform as compared to visitor expectations. Exit Rate is the percentage of visitors that leave your site from a given page based on the number of visits to that page (or pageviews in some cases).
More bounce rate is bad and more exit rate is good for site.
Bounce rate is something when visitors visit your site and bounce back without even visiting any other pages. Exit rate is page specific. If a visitor exits from any of the pages (includes pages which the visitor might have navigated to from the landing page), then the pace at which this takes place is called exit rate.
Bounce rate is the percentage of people who landed on a page and immediately left. Bounces are always one page sessions.
Exit rate is the percentage of people who left your site from that page. Exits may have viewed more than one page in a session. That means they may not have landed on that page, but simply found their way to it through site navigation. The visitor who exits might have visited other pages on your site, but just exited on that specific page.

If visitor lands on one of the pages of your site without opening the other pages is called bounce rate and where as each visitor lands on a page or site and exists for a particular time is known as exit rate.
BOUNCE Rate is the percentage of visitors that hit your website on a given page and don’t visit any other pages on your site.
Exit Rate: Always calculated even if they didn't start or end on the page. If they went from Page C in the last example to another page in your site then it is positive. If they left your site after visiting Page C then it is a negative.
Bounce Rate: Only calculated if they entered the site on that page. Never calculated if they got to the page from another page on your site (the preceding page would get the bounce rate). So in the above example of Page C again. They only came in on Page C once and they exited after reading it. So it is 100% bounce.
