Yes, Google hates duplicate content and low quality & unnatural back links. That is why Google made so many changes in their algorithm and guideline and introduces Google Panda and Penguin algorithms to provide quality search result.

Of course it is correct Google crawler does not like the fake content. But in case of back links it is not true. We have follow all the guidelines of the Google webmaster when we do link building. And Forget the black hat seo tactics.
