ICANN’s new Universal Acceptance guidelines reminded me of an old hosting problem.
Some billing and signup systems used to reject valid longer TLDs because their checks were built around short extensions like .com or .org.
Are hosting providers still seeing customer tickets like this, or has the problem mostly disappeared?
