I have never used Planethoster.net but want to know what makes it unique from other service provider?I am agree with you that Litespeed server better than Apache server specially Static File Performance,PHP Performance,Perl Performance,CGI Performance these are really better with Litespeed server as compare to Apache server.

Litespeed has become very common now and any Hosting provider can offer you a Linux based hosting service with Web server as Litespeed pre-installed on it. Could you list down other requirements apart from Litespeed? so that forum members can recommend a sutiable Web Hosting service provider.

MediaLayer.com offers good LiteSpeed hosting. Please note that you can't just rely on the fact that a host is using LiteSpeed as a web server, as it always depends on how many / how heavy websites he puts on the same shared server. It's possible that LiteSpeed hosting is slower than Apache hosting, if the server is closer at it's limits.

I have not much idea about this server,most of web sites running on apache server.But I am gathering all the details and review about this technology,so may be next time for my newly build website I will go through with this technology.
