what is difference between dofollow and nofollow?

“Do follow” and “No follow” both are the HTML feature announced by Google. Do follow links pass message to Google to follow the link and pass the page rank value. Whereas “No follow links” passes the message to Google not to follow the link and do not pass the value. Do follow is beneficial to create back link as well as improve search engine ranking position. On the other hand, No follow link is beneficial to get referral traffic.
